Paulina Rümmelein is a German voice actress and actress who has been active in the industry since early childhood. Born in Munich on January 30, 1998, she began her voice-over work at the age of five. She is the daughter of Sabine Bohlmann, a well-known German actress and voice actress. Rümmelein also pursued formal acting training, graduating from the Schauspielschule Zerboni in Munich from 2019 to 2022.
Her work in anime dubbing encompasses a range of notable roles. One of her earliest and most prominent anime roles was as the voice of Mei in the Studio Ghibli film My Neighbor Totoro in a 2007 German dub. She later voiced another Ghibli character, Sora Matsuzaki, in From Up on Poppy Hill. In the fantasy series The Misfit of Demon King Academy, she is the German voice of Misha Necron, a quiet and isolated girl who becomes a key companion to the protagonist. Her other significant anime credits include the lead role of Shiro in No Game No Life and its film sequel No Game No Life Zero, Enju Aihara in Black Bullet, and the title character in Violet Evergarden and its subsequent films. She also voiced Carrot in the long-running series One Piece.
Beyond anime, Rümmelein is widely recognized for her voice work in live-action productions. Most notably, she provided the German voice for Maisie Williams as Arya Stark in all seasons of the television series Game of Thrones. Her other prominent voice roles in this field include Maddie Bosch in Bosch and Bosch: Legacy, Daphne Bridgerton in Bridgerton, Luz Noceda in The Owl House, and the character of Rahne Sinclair in the film The New Mutants.
