Julian Tennstedt is a German voice actor born in Berlin on April 5, 1992. He is the son of voice actor Joachim Tennstedt, who also provided his training. Tennstedt began his career in 2009 with minor dubbing roles while still in school. After completing his Abitur in 2011, he pursued a degree in psychology, and from 2016 onward, he began securing larger and more prominent voice roles.

Tennstedt is particularly well-known in the field of anime dubbing, having lent his voice to a wide array of characters in German-language versions of popular series. A significant and recurring role is that of the enthusiastic science lover Chrome in the Dr. Stone franchise. He has voiced the character across multiple installments, including the original Dr. Stone series, Dr. Stone: Stone Wars, Dr. Stone: New World, and the Dr. Stone Special Episode: Ryusui.

His other notable anime roles include the knight Arc in Skeleton Knight in Another World, Ken Draken Ryuguji in Tokyo Revengers, and Weisz Steiner in Edens Zero. He also provided the voice for Dan Moroboshi in the Ultraman series and Rantaro Kiyama in Beyblade Burst. Further demonstrating his range in the genre, his credits include Haruichi Izumo in Kaiju No. 8, Jin Enjoji in Dan Da Dan, and Mitsumata in Ranking of Kings.

Beyond anime, Tennstedt's voice is heard in numerous live-action series and films. He is the German voice of Miguel Diaz (played by Xolo Maridueña) in the series Cobra Kai and of John B (played by Chase Stokes) in Outer Banks. His film work includes roles in productions like The Tomorrow War and Fear Street.

In addition to his on-screen dubbing work, Julian Tennstedt is an active voice artist in audio dramas and audiobooks. He has been a regular performer for the Titania Medien label since 2014, appearing in their popular Gruselkabinett and Sherlock Holmes series. He has also narrated several audiobooks, including titles like Westwell - Heavy & Light and What We Fear.
