Isabelle Schmidt is a German actress and voice actress born in 1972. She trained at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover. Following her education, she performed on stage at the Staatstheater Hannover and the Vereinigten Bühnen Graz, working with directors such as Christoph Schlingensief. Schmidt has also appeared in front of the camera in German television productions, including episodes of the crime series Tatort and SOKO Wismar.

Since the early 2000s, Schmidt has built a extensive career in voice acting, lending her voice to numerous characters in both animated and live-action productions for the German market. Her voice work spans a wide variety of genres, from children's animation to adult-oriented dramas.

In anime and animation, Schmidt is known for several prominent roles. She voices Frederica Hanashiro in the Psycho-Pass franchise, a role she has performed across multiple installments including the films Psycho-Pass: Sinners of the System, Psycho-Pass 3: First Inspector, and Psycho-Pass: Providence. She also provided the German voice for Nerin Simmons in the OAV Strait Jacket: Legend of the Demon Hunter.
