Aurelie Turlet

Description
Aurélie Turlet is a French voice actor known for her work in dubbing anime series and films into French. Her career is rooted in a broader performing arts background, having trained as an actor and dancer. She studied acting under several directors, including Patrice Bigel, Brigitte Seth, Christian Jéhanin, and Alain Prioul, with a focus on camera work. Turlet also trained in contemporary dance and contact dance with various companies. Before focusing on performance, she studied fine arts at the École Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg. Her early career included stage work with the Compagnie du Théâtre de l’Eclipse, where she acted in plays by authors such as Molière and Brecht, and also took on roles as an assistant and set designer.

In voice acting, Turlet is most prominently recognized for her long-standing role as the voice of Akane Tsunemori in the French dub of the Psycho-Pass franchise. She voiced the character in the original series, Psycho-Pass 2, and the film Psycho-Pass: The Movie, as well as in the movie Psycho-Pass: Sinners of the System. This role spanned multiple years and installments of the series, establishing her as the definitive French voice for that character.

Beyond Psycho-Pass, Turlet has taken on other notable anime roles. She voiced Franca in the science fiction series Coyote Ragtime Show. She is also credited with the role of Mikuru 'Micchon' Katsuhara in the series and films of Eden of the East. Her other voice work includes the role of Mayu in InuYasha and Junko and Haruka in La Fille des Enfers.

Turlet's work in the Psycho-Pass franchise involved recurring collaborations with a specific team of voice actors and directors. For the French adaptation of Psycho-Pass, the direction was led by Emmanuel Fouquet at the Mediacenter studio. This team included fellow regular voice actors such as Alan Aubert as Shinya Kōgami, Laurent Jacquet as Nobuchika Ginoza, and Frédérique Marlot as Mika Shimotsuki, among others.
