Eric Chevallier is a French actor primarily known for his extensive work in voice acting, particularly for the French dubbing of animated series and films. His career in performance began on the stage, with numerous theater credits spanning from the 1960s through the 2000s, including productions of works by Molière, Shakespeare, and Marivaux. He also appeared in live-action television series and films, such as "P.J.," "Julie Lescaut," and "Les Rivières pourpres 2".

Chevallier's voice is familiar to French audiences from a wide array of anime and animated series. He voiced the character Lloyd Asplund in the French adaptations of the popular anime series Code Geass, including "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion" and its sequel "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2," as well as the 2019 film "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection". Other notable anime roles include Toshiro in "Cosmo Warrior Zero" and its sequel "Cosmo Warrior Zero Gaiden," Tochiro in "Space Symphony Maetel ~Ginga Tetsudō 999 Gaiden~," and Karim Taylor in the classic series "Attack No. 1". He also provided the voice for Torakichi Tanuki in "Submarine Super 99". His repertoire extends beyond these titles to include roles in "Initial D" as Itsuki, "Fruits Basket" as Akito Sôma, and "Hunter X Hunter" as Budhora and Majitani, among many others. In addition to anime, he lent his voice to characters in Western animation, most notably as the character Stique Valentine in the various French versions of the "Doug" series and film.

Beyond performing, Chevallier has also contributed to the dubbing industry in other capacities. He served as an ADR director, or director of the French adaptation, for series such as "Neo Ranga" and "Corto Maltese: La Cour Secrète des Arcanes". His work in sound also includes roles as a composer and mixing engineer for various television films and movies.

Parallel to his performing arts career, Chevallier has developed a significant practice as a visual artist. Beginning in the early 2000s, he pursued sculpture, an endeavor for which he received a prize from the Académie des Beaux-arts in 2016. He also creates digital art he calls "NUMART," which involves photographing and artistically transforming manhole covers to explore themes of collective consciousness and urban mystery.
