Alessia Amendola

Description
Alessia Amendola is an Italian voice actress and dubbing director, born in Rome on 27 February 1984. She comes from a family with a strong legacy in dubbing; she is the daughter of actor Claudio Amendola and the granddaughter of renowned voice actors Ferruccio Amendola and Rita Savagnone. Amendola began her career at a young age and is known for being the official Italian voice for numerous international actors, including Lindsay Lohan, Megan Fox, Kat Dennings, and Elliot Page.

While her dubbing work is extensive across live-action and animation, she has also contributed significantly to the Italian-language versions of various anime series and films. Her roles in anime include the character Homura Akemi in the series Puella Magi Madoka Magica and its first two compilation films, Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie Part 1: Beginnings and Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie Part 2: Eternal. The assignment for this role was notable, as it followed a fan vote on the website AnimeClick.it in collaboration with the Italian distributor Dynit, which initially selected Amendola before her availability was confirmed for the final cast.

Further showcasing her work in the medium, Amendola voiced VesVes in the film Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal. She also provided the voice for the character Ao in the OAV series Freedom. Her other anime dubbing credits encompass a variety of series and films, including C.C. in Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion and Code Geass: Akito the Exiled, Fuu in Samurai Champloo, Tsukiko Sagi in Paranoia Agent, and Jiaozi in early dubs of Dragon Ball movies. She also voiced characters such as Mawata Awayuki in Prétear and Fata Shinrabansho in Nabari no Ou. Through these roles, Amendola has frequently collaborated with the Italian publishing and distribution company Dynit, which was responsible for the Italian editions of several anime featuring her voice, including Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Freedom.
