Chiharu Sawashiro is a Japanese voice actor and stage actor affiliated with the agency Stay Luck. He was born in Tokyo on December 20, 1987. He is the younger brother of the well-established voice actress Miyuki Sawashiro.

Before entering the voice acting industry, Sawashiro initially pursued a career in stage acting, making his stage debut in 2008 and performing with a theater group. Although he was scouted by a talent agency in high school, he declined at the time to focus on his studies and club activities. While in university, he began to consider his future career more seriously and, inspired by his sister's success, decided to aim for voice acting. He made his debut in the industry around 2013, with his first major role being Masamune Shiga in the 2014 video game Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters.

Sawashiro has built a diverse portfolio of roles across anime, video games, and dubbed content. In anime television series, his notable roles include Banri Settsu in A3! Season Autumn & Winter, Taiga in Tribe Nine, and Nozomu Nanase in TsukiPro the Animation. He has also voiced Nagata in Mr. Tonegawa, Sōma Kujō in Stand My Heroes: Piece of Truth, Elmar Siegfried in The Prince of Tennis II: U-17 World Cup and its sequel, and Argon in Show By Rock!! Stars!!. His film work includes a role as Kenji Mitsuda in the 2021 animated film Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway. In the world of video games, he is known for voicing the main protagonist in The Caligula Effect and its anime adaptation, as well as Ritsu Shikishima.

Beyond his voice work, Sawashiro has demonstrated his range by taking on leading roles in live-action projects, such as the 2021 television drama Voice Actor Detective. He is also a musician; in 2019, he made his major debut as the leader and vocalist of a band called Street Story. His personal interests include playing the guitar and the sanshin, a traditional Okinawan instrument, and he holds a certification as a baseball expert.
