José Luis Reza Arenas, known professionally as José Arenas, is a Mexican voice actor and dubbing director with a career spanning over three decades. He began his career in dubbing in 1992, following his studies at the Instituto Andrés Soler in Mexico City.
Reza has provided the Spanish voice for a wide array of characters in anime. He is known for his work in long-running series, such as the villainous Orochimaru in Naruto and Naruto Shippūden. He also voiced the character of Benji Price, known as Genzo Wakabayashi in the original, in the soccer anime Captain Tsubasa: Road to 2002. In the Dragon Ball franchise, his roles include the villain Jeice in Dragon Ball Z Kai, among others.
Among his notable roles in classic and popular anime, he has voiced Captain Harlock in multiple productions, including the film Harlock: Space Pirate. He also played the role of Akisame Koetsuji in the series KenIchi the Mightiest Disciple. He is the voice of Hikaru Ichijou in the film The Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Do You Remember Love?. Another significant role is that of Demon, also known as Shuten Douji, in the series Legendary Armor Samurai Troopers. His other anime credits include roles in Inuyasha, Pokémon, and Zatch Bell.
