Rachel Hirschfeld is an American voice actress known for her work in anime dubbing and video games, with a career that began in her childhood in Los Angeles. Growing up in Los Angeles, she was involved in voiceover work from a young age while also pursuing training in tap dancing and musical theatre. She was part of the original workshop of the musical 13! and performed for three years in the American Girl Revue at American Girl Place, playing the historical characters Molly and Felicity. Hirschfeld later moved to Boston to study musical theatre at the Boston Conservatory before relocating to New York City to continue her performance career. In 2020, she returned to Los Angeles and founded Laurel Arts Club, a performing arts program for children.

Hirschfeld has accumulated a significant number of credits in English-language dubs of anime series. One of her most recognized roles is Anita King in the series R.O.D -The TV. For this performance, she received an Anime Dub Recognition (ADR) Award in June 2004. Another prominent role was as Pino in the acclaimed series Ergo Proxy. As noted by the user, her voice acting credits also include the role of Ten'i in the OAV Ikki Tousen: Shūgaku Tōshi Keppu-roku and the television series Ikki Tousen: Xtreme Xecutor, as well as the role of Lulu the Frog in Angel Tales. Her other anime credits include Hinata in Girls Bravo, Hana in Haibane Renmei, Miko Saegusa in Kamichu!, a Red Hair Girl in The Melody of Oblivion, and Hizuki Fuwa in both Mermaid Forest and Rumiko Takahashi Anthology.

In addition to her anime work, Hirschfeld has an extensive portfolio of voice work in video games. She is particularly known for voicing Alisa Reinford in multiple entries of the Legend of Heroes series, including Trails of Cold Steel, Trails of Cold Steel II, Trails of Cold Steel III, Trails of Cold Steel IV, and Trails into Reverie. Her other video game credits include Aina in.hack//G.U. Vol.3//Redemption, Odette in Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny, and providing additional voices for The Last Remnant.

Throughout her career, Hirschfeld has been associated with New Generation Pictures, the dubbing studio responsible for the English adaptations of several shows she worked on, such as R.O.D the TV and Ergo Proxy. She has also had recurring collaborations with fellow actor Jessica D. Stone, whom she met as a child while performing in theatre, and they have appeared together in numerous anime titles. Hirschfeld worked under the direction of Taliesin Jaffe, who was the ADR Director for R.O.D the TV, a dub that has been praised for its quality. Her career is also notable for being an example of a voice actor who began voicing child characters as a young performer herself, a relative rarity in the dubbing industry.
