Daisuke Sakuma is a Japanese singer, actor, and voice actor, born in Tokyo on July 5, 1992. He is a member of the popular STARTO ENTERTAINMENT (formerly Johnny & Associates) boy band Snow Man. His path to voice acting was paved by a deep-seated passion for anime, which earned him a reputation as the biggest anime fan within the agency during his early years as a Junior. He furthered this interest academically by enrolling in the media studies program at Josai International University, where he took courses in voice acting.

Sakuma's career in entertainment began in 2005 when he joined the agency, and he officially debuted as a member of Snow Man in 2020. His formal entry into voice acting came in the same year, with a role as Makusa North in the long-running anime series Black Clover. This initial foray was soon followed by his first leading role in voice acting, providing the Japanese dub for the protagonist Yang Tianxiang in the 2021 animated film White Snake.

He gained wider recognition in the anime community for his role as Michiru Hazama in the Cardfight!! Vanguard franchise. He first voiced the character in Cardfight!! Vanguard will+Dress, which began in 2022, and continued the role in subsequent series, including Cardfight!! Vanguard Divinez and its sequel, Cardfight!! Vanguard Divinez Deluxe-hen. This recurring role demonstrates a sustained collaboration with the long-running card game anime series.

Sakuma has continued to build his voice acting portfolio with a variety of roles. In 2025, he was cast as the legendary idol Hibiki Kaito in the Pretty Cure franchise entry, You and Idol Pretty Cure. He is also set to appear in several upcoming anime, including a role as Shin Kohazame in Kill Blue, as a member of the cast for Inherit the Winds, and as Kai Amano in Melody of the Boundary.

A notable collaboration in his career has been with fellow voice actor and singer Takuma Terashima. The two, who are close friends, worked together on a voice drama titled Samael to no Kaikou, featured on Terashima's 2024 concept EP ELEMENTS. Sakuma voiced the mysterious character Samael in this project, which was written by Terashima himself. This collaboration highlights his connections within the voice acting industry.
