Arisa Ogasawara is a Japanese actress and voice actor born in Tokyo on September 30, 1980. She is affiliated with the Himawari Theatre Group, the agency where she began her entertainment career as a child actor during her elementary school years. Her early on-screen appearances included roles in television dramas such as Mobile Cop Jiban and the television film The Tales of the Unusual in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Ogasawara expanded her career to voice acting in the late 1990s. Her debut anime role was Mei Fa in the 1998 series Cowboy Bebop. This was followed by other roles in series such as Sorcerer Hunters and Devilman Lady. A significant early leading role was providing the voice of Cheza in the 2003 anime series Wolf's Rain.

Ogasawara is known for several major anime roles. She voiced Soma Peries and the orange Haro unit in the Mobile Suit Gundam 00 franchise, appearing in the television series, its second season, and the 2010 feature film, as well as numerous video game adaptations. In 2010, she was cast as the boisterous Panty in the cult classic series Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt. She is confirmed to reprise this role for the upcoming New Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt project. Her other anime credits include roles in D.Gray-man as Lulu Bell, Hanamaru Kindergarten as Kakogawa-sensei, Tales of Vesperia: The First Strike as Hiska, STAR DRIVER as Milaine Aragorn, and Hyoge Mono as Cha Cha.

In addition to her work in original Japanese animation, Ogasawara has an extensive career in dubbing foreign films and television series. She is notably the dedicated Japanese voice for actresses Lindsay Lohan and Hilary Duff. Her dubbing credits for Lindsay Lohan include Mean Girls, Freaky Friday, and Georgia Rule. For Hilary Duff, she provided the voice in The Twelve Warriors and its sequel. She also dubbed the role of Kim Possible in the Japanese version of the Disney animated series Kim Possible.

Ogasawara has demonstrated recurring collaborations within the industry, particularly with the Gundam franchise, voicing Soma Peries and the Haro unit across numerous television series, films, and video games for over a decade. Her video game work includes appearances in the long-running SD Gundam G Generation and Super Robot Wars series, as well as titles like Tengu 4 and Blue Protocol. Her notable achievements include a long-standing career spanning both live-action and voice acting since childhood, and she is recognized for her versatility in handling both comedic and dramatic roles, as well as her significant contributions as a dub actor for Western media.
