Setsuji Satoh is a Japanese actor and voice actor born on December 6, 1974, in Tokyo, Japan. He is affiliated with the theatre company Engeki Shūdan Yen. A graduate of the Osaka University of Arts, Satoh began his entertainment career in the early 1990s, initially focusing on stage performances before expanding into voice acting and on-screen roles.

In anime, Satoh is known for a wide array of character roles. He has had a longstanding association with the Duel Masters franchise, voicing the character Decky in multiple series, including Duel Masters!, Duel Masters!!, Duel Masters King, and Duel Masters King Max, in addition to providing narration for earlier entries. Another recurring role is that of Aijima Senpai, which he played in both The Tatami Galaxy and its sequel, Tatami Time Machine Blues. His other notable anime credits include Hank in Yurei Deco, Nox in Monster Hunter: Legends of the Guild, Yasaka in Fist of the Blue Sky Regenesis and its second season, Bert Thomas in Before Green Gables, Kapaeru in Demon Prince Enma, and DJ Navi in Norimono Man Mobile Land no Car-kun. He also provided the Japanese voice for Starscream in the Netflix series Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy: Siege and Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy: Earthrise. Earlier in his career, he took on significant roles such as Joseph Yaht in Turn A Gundam and Kageto Kinoshita in Yakitate!! Japan.

Beyond anime, Satoh's voice acting career is extensive in video games and dubbing foreign films and television series. He has voiced characters in major game titles like Lucas Baker in Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, Kenji in Ghost of Tsushima, Ramattra in Overwatch 2, and G1 Michigan in Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon. As a dubbing artist, he is the regular Japanese voice for actors such as T.J. Miller and Andy Samberg. Among his many dubbed roles, he took on the part of Nori in The Hobbit film series and notably inherited the role of Tom Cat for the Japanese dub of The Tom and Jerry Show in 2016 following the passing of the previous voice actor. His voice is described as a high baritone, allowing him to portray a broad spectrum of characters, from villains to comedic relief.
