Yuuji Kishi is a Japanese actor and voice actor born on September 28, 1970, in Tokyo. He began his entertainment career in 1996, gaining initial fame through his lead role as Kyousuke Jinnai/Red Racer in the Super Sentai series Gekisou Sentai Carranger. While he continues to act extensively in television dramas, films, and stage musicals, Kishi has also built a substantial career in voice acting for anime and video games.

His voice acting portfolio includes a wide range of characters in animated series and films. He is known for providing the Japanese voice of Ken Masters in the Street Fighter IV animated film, Street Fighter IV: The Ties That Bind, and has continued to voice the character in numerous related video games, including Street Fighter IV, Street Fighter V, and Street Fighter VI. In the CG film Appleseed: Ex Machina, he voiced the bioroid soldier Tereus. He also voiced the character George in the anime series Taiga Adventure. Within the Transformers franchise, he voiced the Maximal Scuba in both the anime series Beast Wars II: Chō Seimeitai Transformers and its accompanying film, Transformers: Beast Wars II: The Movie. In the long-running series Kochira Katsushika-ku Kamearikouen-mae Hashutsujo, also known as KochiKame, he voiced the character Volvo Saigo, a role he also reprised for the second movie adaptation. His other notable anime roles include Enjolras in Les Misérables: Shōjo Cosette and Soujirou Ayanokouji in Shattered Angels. Kishi also voiced Yazoo in the CGI film Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.

A notable aspect of Kishi's career is the synergy between his on-stage and voice acting work, particularly for the role of Enjolras. He performed the character in the stage musical of Les Misérables for several years before also voicing him in the anime adaptation Les Misérables: Shōjo Cosette.
