Her career in the voice acting industry began after she enrolled as an 11th-term student at the Katsuta Voice Actor Academy in 1993, followed by training at the agency's Voice Actors Studio as a 7th-term student in 1996. Throughout her career, she has also worked under several different stage names, most notably Imuraya Honoka (井村屋ほのか), particularly for her extensive work in video games.
