Tomoka Kurotani is a Japanese actress, model, and television personality who has also done voice acting for anime. Born on December 11, 1975, in Sakai, Osaka, Japan, she began her career in entertainment as a fashion model during high school. She transitioned to acting in 1995 with a role in the film Boxer Joe. Following this debut, she moved to Tokyo to pursue acting more seriously and became a regular host on the TBS variety show Uwasa no! Tokyo Magazine from 1998 to 2000.

Kurotani built a prolific career in live-action film and television, starring in numerous dramas and movies. Her notable live-action credits include the films Shinobi: Heart Under Blade, The Homeless Student, and Daughters, as well as television series such as Hotman and the long-running drama series Hancho (The Investigative Committee).

Her work in anime is limited but includes a prominent role in a major animated feature. She provided the voice for Princess Marikka in the 2011 animated film Buddha: The Great Departure, an adaptation of Osamu Tezuka's manga series about the life of Siddhartha. This film represents her sole confirmed voice acting credit in animation. While her primary body of work remains in live-action, this role stands as her key contribution to the anime medium.
