Tetsuo Mizutori

Tetsuo Mizutori was a Japanese voice actor born in Tokyo on December 25, 1938. He passed away on July 14, 2010, at the age of 71. Throughout his career, he was affiliated with the talent agency Arts Vision. Beyond his voice work, he contributed to the industry as a lecturer at the Katsuta Voice Actor's Academy, where he instructed future talents, and he was a founder of the theatre group Gekidan Akapela Club. He was known to have a baritone voice range and often portrayed young men, elderly characters, and antagonistic roles.
Mizutori's career in voice acting began in the late 1960s and spanned over four decades. He became a familiar presence in anime throughout the 1970s and 1980s, building a substantial body of work. Among his most recognized roles were the栗头老师 (Kurigashira-sensei, or Curry-Hair Teacher) in Dr. Slump and the father of the main characters in the 1988 series Osomatsu-kun. In the Kinnikuman franchise, he was a regular voice, notably portraying Brocken Jr., a role the user specified, as well as Yosaku-san across multiple installments including the film Kinnikuman: Kessen! Shichinin no Seigi Chōjin vs. Uchū Nobushi.
