Mercedes Prato, born María Mercedes Prato Méndez on September 24, 1974, is a Venezuelan actress specializing in voice dubbing for animation and live-action productions. She is also a stage actress, voice-over artist, singer, and Foley artist. Prato is a graduate of the Escuela de Teatro Porfirio Rodríguez, completing her studies in 1995. She began her career in voice dubbing the following year in Caracas, Venezuela, at the age of 21.

Her professional voice acting work has been extensive, spanning numerous anime series, animated cartoons, and live-action shows. In the realm of anime, she is known for providing the Spanish voice for the character Honne-Onna in the series Hell Girl. Her other prominent anime roles include Dita Liebely in both Vandread and Vandread: The Second Stage, Dejiko in Di Gi Charat Nyo, and Subaru in.hack//SIGN. A comprehensive list of her anime credits also features roles in Fullmetal Alchemist as Selim Bradley, Solty Rei as the titular character Solty Revant, and Bokurano as Takami Komoda, among many others.
