Scott McCord is a Canadian actor with an extensive career in voice acting for animation, alongside significant work in live-action television, film, and theatre. He is a lifetime member of The Actors Studio and has been active in the entertainment industry since the mid-1990s. His voice work is particularly prominent in English dubs of anime and in original Canadian animated series.
McCord is most recognized in the anime community for his long-standing role as the voice of Dan Kuso, the protagonist of the Bakugan franchise. He voiced the character across all the main series, beginning with Bakugan Battle Brawlers and continuing through Bakugan Battle Brawlers: New Vestroia, Bakugan Battle Brawlers: Gundalian Invaders, and Bakugan: Mechtanium Surge. His contributions to the series extended beyond the lead role; in New Vestroia, he also provided the voices for the character Percival and Professor Clay, and in Gundalian Invaders, he voiced Strikeflyer. His involvement in the Bakugan franchise also included voicing the character in the 2009 video game based on the series.
