Bea Tober was a German voice actress and screen actress, recognized for her extensive work in dubbing foreign-language productions, particularly anime series, for German audiences. She was born Beate Tober on November 10, 1957, in Berlin. Her career encompassed both on-screen roles in German television and film as well as a prolific career in voice acting.

Tober's voice acting portfolio was substantial and spanned several decades, with a significant focus on Japanese anime. She provided the German voice for a wide array of characters in popular series. One of her noted roles was as Lalala, one half of the duo serving King Dedede in the anime series Kirby: Right Back At Ya!. Another prominent early role was providing the voice for a young Trunks in the German version of the Dragon Ball Z series and its related movies.

Her work in the anime genre was extensive. Her credits included voicing characters in major titles such as Sara Crewe in A Little Princess Sara, Isogai in Clannad and Clannad After Story, Koromon and Yoshie Izumi in Digimon Adventure, and Gatchan in Dr. Slump. She also had roles in Attack on Titan as Eld's Mother, Haikyu!! as a character listed as Grandma, and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure as Queen Elizabeth I. In the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise, she voiced Hiling Care in Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Second Season. She was a recurring voice in the long-running Detective Conan series, lending her voice to numerous minor characters across the TV series and several movies, including Yumi Miyamoto in the second season.

Beyond anime, Tober's voice can be heard in other animated and live-action productions. She was the German voice for Dee Dee in the popular cartoon Dexter's Laboratory. Her live-action dubbing work included voicing Judy King in Orange Is the New Black. She was also active in dubbing for other Japanese media, such as voicing Eldora in Selector Infected Wixoss.

On German television, she had roles in popular series such as Polizeiruf 110, Alarm für Cobra 11 – Die Autobahnpolizei, and a recurring role as Dr. Knollmann in the children's series Schloss Einstein.
