Atsushi Kakehashi

Atsushi Kakehashi is a Japanese voice actor affiliated with the talent management firm Ken Production. He was born on December 20, 1978, in the city of Kushiro, located on the northern island of Hokkaido, Japan. Prior to entering the voice acting industry, he worked part-time as a bartender in Tokyo's Meguro district.

Kakehashi began his career in 1999 after joining Ken Production. In the early 2000s, he was a member of the voice actor unit Revolver, which included fellow voice actors Eiji Miyashita, Yohei Masukawa, and Anri Katsu, among others. He remained with the group until its解散 in October 2006. His career has spanned numerous television anime, original video animations (OVAs), animated films, and video games, often providing voices for supporting characters.

Among his notable roles is Susumu Miyanomori, which he voiced in the OVA for the otome game series Hanayaka Nari, Waga Ichizoku. His other credits include the role of Hiroki in the anime Hell Girl: Two Mirrors (2006) and Nakame in the long-running series Kekkaishi (2006). He has also been a recurring presence in long-running franchises, providing voices for various characters in Sazae-san, Crayon Shin-chan, and Doraemon over many years. In video games, he voiced the character Rutger in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia (2017).

Outside of his professional work, Kakehashi is known for his hobbies, which include playing mahjong and video games, as well as watching NBA basketball. He also has a noted interest in exploring and eating at various ramen shops whenever he visits different recording studios for work.
