Alberto Bognanni is an Italian actor and voice actor, born in Rome on August 2, 1963. He graduated in Literature and Philosophy from the Sapienza University of Rome and is a graduate of the Pietro Scharoff Academy of Dramatic Art in Rome. His career began in the late 1990s, with appearances in Italian cinema and television, and he has also performed in theatre. He started working in dubbing in the year 2000.

Bognanni has lent his voice to numerous characters in anime series and films for the Italian market. Among his notable roles are Kohachi Inugami in Kemono Jihen, Daysom in Ultramarine Magmell, and Sammy Diesel in Super Crooks. He voiced Steve in the anime film Flavors of Youth and took on the roles of both Hiromi Kaname and Padre Mirai in Shin Megami Tensei Devil Children. His other anime credits include Chimpster in Freedom, Abelt Dessler in Uchū Senkan Yamato 2199: Hoshi-Meguru Hakobune, and Jimmy Aoyama in the Ghost Stories anime series.

Beyond these specific credits, Bognanni's voice work in animation is extensive. He is the Italian voice of Loki in several Marvel animated series, including Avengers Assemble and Ultimate Spider-Man. He has voiced characters in long-running and popular shows such as Starscream in Transformers, Captain Turbot in PAW Patrol, Tritannus in Winx Club, Decim in Death Parade, and Welfin and Zepile in Hunter × Hunter. He is the regular Italian voice for actors such as Robert Carlyle, Dominic West, Denis Ménochet, and Tadanobu Asano. Among his many live-action dubbing credits are Robert Carlyle in Once Upon a Time, Dominic West in The Affair, Tadanobu Asano in the Thor films, and actors in major movies like Killers of the Flower Moon and Oppenheimer. He has also provided voices for characters in video games such as Binary Domain and PAW Patrol World.

Throughout his career, Bognanni has received recognition for his acting work. In 2000, he won the critics' prize "Charlot di Cabaret". In 2008, he was awarded the Premio Massimo Troisi as Best Actor at the Drake International Film Festival for his role in the film Ho ammazzato Berlusconi.
