Description
Michaela Kametz is a German actress and voice artist, born in Munich in 1959. Her career began in theater during her school years, with her first official role at the Theater in der Briennerstraße. She was engaged at the Fränkische Landestheater in 1980 and later spent a year in New York studying dance and musical theater. Since 1986, she has worked as a freelance performer, appearing on various stages including the Grenzlandtheater Aachen, the Landestheater Schleswig-Holstein, and the Comödie an der Ruhr.
In addition to her stage work, Kametz has built a substantial career in voice acting, lending her voice to numerous films, television series, and video games for the German market. Her work spans a wide variety of genres, including anime, where she is known for dubbing characters in many popular series. She has also been active as a station voice for television channels such as RTL, VOX, WDR, and Arte.
