Massimo Aresu is an Italian voice actor and radio personality, born in Cagliari in 1984. He began his career in media at the age of sixteen in 2000, working as a radio speaker before transitioning into dubbing. His voice acting portfolio is extensive, encompassing live-action films and television series as well as a significant number of anime and animated projects.

Aresu's career in dubbing includes voicing characters in a wide array of popular live-action productions. His credits include roles in films such as Fast and Furious 5, The Host, and Submarine, and television series like Under the Dome, Arrow, The Blacklist, White Collar, and Parks and Recreation. He has also lent his voice to characters in Battlestar Galactica and Diario di una nerd superstar.

In the realm of animation and anime, Aresu is particularly well-known for his work on several high-profile series and films. He is the Italian voice of Ban, the Fox Sin of Greed, in the long-running fantasy series The Seven Deadly Sins. He has voiced this character across multiple installments of the franchise, including the television series Dragon's Judgement and Revival of The Commandments, as well as the films Cursed By Light and Grudge of Edinburgh. In discussing his approach to voicing Ban, Aresu noted that he sought to find authentic emotions and draw from personal experience, treating the animated role with the same depth as a live-action part to convey the character's intentions to the Italian audience.

His other notable anime roles include providing the voice for the adult version of Xiao Ming in the first segment of the co-produced film Flavors of Youth. He is also the Italian voice for the masked pilot Zechs Merquise in the film Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz Special Edition.
