Luise Charlotte Brings is a German voice actor and dialogue director whose career in synchronization began in the late 1980s. She is known for providing the German voice for characters in a range of anime films and series, often for dubs produced in the mid-1990s. Notable examples from this period include her role as Susan Sommers in the film Venus Wars, as Chiren in Battle Angel, and as Sophia in A Wind Named Amnesia. Her work in the anime genre also includes voicing the character Hitomi in Appleseed: Kampf um die Freiheit, providing the first German voice for the character Motoko Kusanagi in the VHS version of Ghost in the Shell, and contributing to the series Dragon Ball, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Bleach.
