Roser Cavallé was a Spanish actress known for her work in voice dubbing for film and television. Born on February 8, 1935, in Reus, Tarragona, Catalonia, Spain, she built a prolific career lending her voice to numerous characters in Catalan and Spanish-language versions of international productions. She passed away on October 6, 2014, in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.
Within the realm of anime, Cavallé is recognized for providing the Spanish voice for the character Bruixa in the series Maeterlinck's Blue Bird. Her voice work, however, extended significantly into dubbing for animated feature films. She voiced the villainess Cruella de Vil in the Catalan-language dubbing of Disney's 101 Dalmatians, which was produced in 1995. She also notably provided the voice for the character Yzma in both the Catalan and Castilian Spanish dubs of the Disney film The Emperor's New Groove, released in 2001.
