Volcano Ōta is the stage name of Kensuke Ōta, a Japanese voice actor born on January 2, 1971, in Tokyo, Japan. He is affiliated with the talent agency Aoni Production. He has also been credited under the name Pile Volcano Ota earlier in his career. Before becoming a full-time voice actor, Ōta worked as a toy developer at Bandai starting in 1994.

Ōta has built a career voicing a wide array of characters across anime, video games, and tokusatsu series, often lending his voice to powerful or distinctive roles. His anime roles include Nagamasa Mora in My Hero Academia, Bon Jovina in the 2022 series Bastard!! -Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy-, Kenny in Cop Craft, Gontarō Kaitani in Angolmois: Record of Mongol Invasion, and Genji in Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku. He also voiced Oliver in SK8 the Infinity and Kagali in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime.

His film credits include Magenta in Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero and a role in the anime film Dragon Ball Super: Broly. In the web series 5-Oku-Nen Button, he provided the voice for the character Dragon. He has also appeared in the Marvel Future Avengers series as Arnim Zola, and has roles in various installments of the Digimon franchise, including Millenniummon in Digimon Adventure: (2020) and the character Volcamon in Digimon Frontier, which shares a namesake with his stage name.

In addition to anime, Ōta has performed voice work for video games, such as the character Crasher Wake in Pokémon Masters EX, and for tokusatsu productions, including a voice role in the Super Sentai series Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger.
