Samira Jakobs is a German voice actress and singer, born on May 7, 1990, in Willich. Her early affinity for performing was evident from childhood, as she sang for music learning software at the age of eight and remained active as a vocal soloist and young actress in various orchestras and theater groups through her school years. She pursued higher education in media and cultural studies at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf from 2011 to 2015, and also studied sitcom scriptwriting and cinematography at California State University Fullerton. This period included practical training, such as an internship at Radio 90.1 Mönchengladbach in 2011, a workshop in singing and role-playing with Alexandra Wilcke in 2012, and a volunteer position focusing on dialogue books and direction with Sven Hasper in 2014. Her academic work culminated in a bachelor's thesis on the potential of film synchronization in German-speaking regions.

Since 2015, Jakobs has been based in Berlin, working extensively as a voice actress for film and television. She is particularly well-known in the anime community for providing the German voices for numerous characters. She voices Miho Nishizumi, the main protagonist of the Girls und Panzer series, a role she has performed across the original series, the film Girls und Panzer der Film, the OVA Girls und Panzer: This is the Real Anzio Battle!, and all parts of the final film saga Girls und Panzer: Das Finale. Her other notable anime roles include Kukuri Yukizome in K and its film K: Missing Kings, Nadeko Sengoku in Bakemonogatari, Kurumi Kawai in IRODUKU: The World in Colors, and Finis in Lost Song. She has also lent her voice to characters in popular series such as Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma, Fairy Tail, Sword Art Online, and Re:ZERO - Starting Life in Another World.

Beyond anime, Jakobs's voice acting portfolio is diverse, encompassing live-action films and television series. She has dubbed roles in productions such as The Kissing Booth (as Olivia), Black Lightning (as Jennifer Pierce), The Lodge (as Skye), and Conjuring 2. In addition to her voice work, Jakobs is also a singer, performing with the a cappella band Anrosa.
