Sérgio Cantú is a Brazilian voice actor, dialogue director, and translator with a career spanning over three decades. He was born on May 14, 1981, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He began his career in voice acting in 1993 and has since become a prominent figure in the Brazilian dubbing industry.

Cantú has provided the Brazilian Portuguese voice for a wide array of characters in anime and animation. Among his most recognized roles are L in Death Note, William Vangeance in Black Clover, Aki Hayakawa in Chainsaw Man, and Shinichirō Sano in Tokyo Revengers. He is also the voice of Brock in the film Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution. In the series Radiant, he voices the character Diabal, and in Fire Force, he is the voice of Viktor Licht. His work in the animated series Transformers: Robots in Disguise includes the character R.E.V., and he voiced Dick Grayson, also known as Asa Noturna, in the film Batman Ninja. Beyond anime, his extensive portfolio includes dubbing Sheldon Cooper in The Big Bang Theory, a role for which he received a Prêmio Yamato nomination for Best Lead Voice Actor, and Peter Parker / Homem-Aranha (Spider-Man) in The Amazing Spider-Man film series.

In addition to his on-screen roles, Cantú is an experienced dialogue director and translator. He has directed the Brazilian Portuguese dubbing for numerous major productions, particularly those from Marvel Studios, including films such as Captain America: Civil War, Guardians of the Galaxy, Doctor Strange, and Avengers: Infinity War. His recent directorial work includes the 2024 film Deadpool & Wolverine, the series Thunderbolts, and the anime series Devil May Cry for Netflix. He also served as the director for the Brazilian version of the animated series X-Men 97. His work as a translator includes scripts for films like Inside Out, Moana, and Star Wars: The Last Jedi. He frequently collaborates with other renowned Brazilian voice actors and has worked on projects with studios such as Delart.
