In the Pokémon franchise, Stern voiced the character Agatha, an Elite Four member specializing in Ghost-type Pokémon, in the 2016 web series Pokémon Generations. Her involvement in this series also extended behind the microphone, as she served as the voice director for the project.

Beyond acting, Stern has an extensive career as a voice director and ADR script writer. Her directing credits are numerous and include work on various Lupin the 3rd movies and series, as well as Netflix productions such as Kitz and The Welcome Home School. One of her most distinguished achievements in this field was directing the Navajo-language dub of Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope, a historic project notable for being the first time a feature film was dubbed into a Native American language.
