Ewout Eggink is a Dutch voice actor, actor, director, and author, born in Doorn in 1961. He began his career in the early 1980s as a co-founder of the music theater company Dynastie van Oer and has since worked extensively in theater, film, and literature as a writer, poet, and director. Since 1996, he has been a highly active and in-demand voice actor for the Dutch dubs of numerous international films, television series, and video games.

Eggink's voice acting portfolio is extensive, encompassing a wide range of characters across major animated and live-action franchises. In animation, he has voiced prominent characters such as Francesco Bernoulli in the Cars films and Bob Cutlass in Cars 3, the Joker in the Dutch dub of Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, and François in Ratatouille. He is also known for his work in various Disney and Pixar productions, including providing additional voices for Monsters University and Toy Story 3, and playing the roles of Bruno Madrigal in Encanto and Peter Quill / Star-Lord in multiple Marvel series and films like Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers Assemble, and the Disney Infinity video games. His other notable roles include Spike in Flushed Away, Dr. Kamikazi in Robotboy, Tetter in Bruine Beer in het Blauwe Huis, Azraël in the Smurfs films, Big Macintosh and Snails in My Little Pony: Vriendschap is betoverend, and Cecil Steadman in the adult animated series Invincible.

Eggink's work extends to anime and Japanese productions, most notably within the Pokémon franchise. He voiced Professor Birch in Pokémon: Advanced and was also the Dutch voice for Chiron in the miniseries Pokémon Generations. Additional anime credits include providing voices for the Dutch versions of Crayon Shin-chan, Spirited Away (for its Netflix release), and the role of Gemaskerde Muchacho. In other series, he voiced Monroe in Amphibia, various Simpsons characters, and Darkwing Duck in Ducktales.

Throughout his career, Eggink has frequently collaborated on major franchises for Disney, Marvel, and Pixar, contributing to a large body of work that spans decades. He is also a member of the Dutch dubbing industry organization Samen1Stem. In recognition of his long-standing dedication and exceptional contribution to the field of Dutch dubbing, he was awarded the Silver Cow on September 1, 2025.
