Description
Pat Zwingmann is a German voice actor and speaker who has been active in the synchronization industry since 2017. He is also known professionally as Patrick Zwingmann. His distinctive deep and resonant voice has led to his casting in a wide variety of film, television, and animation projects.

Before focusing on voice acting, Zwingmann's career path was diverse. At the age of fifteen, he became the youngest person in Germany to pass the final examination at the magic school in Munich, an experience that introduced him to performance and led to private lessons in method acting. He spent two years in the United States and upon returning, was the frontman for several rock bands for fifteen years. He also trained in vocals with Karen Edwards at the Gasteig in Munich and pursued interests in strength sports and strongman competitions. Prior to becoming a full-time speaker, he worked as a manager and trained as a sound engineer, which allowed him to begin working as an off-screen and commercial speaker.

In the realm of anime and German dubbing, Zwingmann has taken on a number of notable roles that highlight his vocal range. He voices Yoshiaki Iizuka, the leader of the M-Squad and legal guardian of the protagonist, in the series Magical Girl Spec-Ops Asuka. In the long-running series KenIchi the Mightiest Disciple, he provides the German voice for two distinct characters: the master Mototsugu Shirahama and Yuuma Chiaki, also known as Thor. His work in anime extends to other popular titles, including roles such as Jesus Burgess in One Piece, Dorian in Baki, various cell types in Cells at Work! and Cells at Work! Code Black, and characters in series like Zombie Land Saga and Darwin's Game.

Beyond anime, Zwingmann's career is marked by a series of high-profile dubbing roles. He was selected as the new German voice for Chief Wiggum in the long-running animated series The Simpsons, starting from season 33. In 2022, he achieved a lifelong dream by becoming the new German voice of Jonathan Frakes for the mystery series X-Factor: Das Unfassbare, succeeding the long-time previous speaker. He has also dubbed prominent actors such as Anthony Hopkins in the film The Virtuoso and has lent his voice to characters in major productions for clients like Disney, Netflix, and Telekom.

Zwingmann is based near Munich, where he operates his own sound studio and also works as a vocal coach. His body of work comprises over one hundred speaking roles, demonstrating his established presence in the German dubbing industry.
