Billy Bob Thompson is an American voice actor known for his extensive work in English-language dubs of anime series and films. Born William Robert Thompson on January 22, 1985, in Burlington, Vermont, he began his voice acting career as an adult. He is frequently associated with the New York-based dubbing studio NYAV Post and has also worked with other studios like Bang Zoom! Entertainment.

Thompson is perhaps most recognized for his long-standing and varied contributions to the Pokémon franchise. His involvement began during the fourteenth season of the anime, Pokémon the Series: Black & White, where he voiced characters including the Gym Leader Burgh. He went on to take on several significant roles in subsequent series and films. Notably, he voiced Ash Ketchum's Froakie throughout its evolution into Frogadier and finally Greninja in Pokémon the Series: XY and XY&Z, as well as in multiple movies like Pokémon the Movie: Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction, Pokémon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages, and Pokémon the Movie: Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel.
