Mauro Gravina is an Italian voice actor born in Rome on April 15, 1957, widely recognized for his extensive work dubbing anime and Western animated series into Italian. He comes from a family deeply involved in the dubbing industry; he is the brother of voice actress Monica Gravina, the husband of voice actress Antonella Rinaldi, and the father of voice actress Benedetta Gravina.

Gravina's career encompasses a vast array of roles in Japanese animation. He has voiced characters in several foundational and popular series, including Tem Ray, the father of protagonist Amuro Ray, in the various installments of the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise, such as the movie trilogy and The Origin. He is also the Italian voice of Jerid Messa in Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam and its film compilations. Another significant early role was as Dee Laytner in the 1996 anime adaptation of the manga Fake.

His film work in anime includes providing the voice of Fiore, one of the comedic animal sidekicks, in the 1981 Toei Animation film Swan Lake. He voiced Barry, the elder brother of the wolf Gabu, in the 2005 movie Arashi no Yoru ni. He also played Danbei Makino in the 1975 movie Uchuu Enban Dai-Sensou, a pilot film for the series Grendizer. In the dubbing of renowned Studio Ghibli films, Gravina is the voice of Kiki's father in Kiki's Delivery Service.

In more contemporary anime, Gravina has taken on prominent roles. He is the Italian voice of Howzer, a Holy Knight, across multiple entries in The Seven Deadly Sins franchise, including Imperial Wrath of The Gods. His other notable credits include the villain Melzalgald in One-Punch Man, the cosmic entity Anti-Spiral in Gurren Lagann, Shu in the recent Dragon Ball Z films Battle of Gods and Resurrection 'F', and The Instructor in Attack on Titan. He also voiced the character Odysseus eu Britannia in Code Geass.

Beyond anime, Gravina's voice is familiar to Italian audiences from numerous Western animated series. He has voiced characters such as Lawrence Fletcher in Phineas and Ferb, the Professor in The Powerpuff Girls, Cyril Figgis in Archer, and one of the Beagle Boys, Pico Bass, in DuckTales. He also dubbed the character Ben Frankenstein in Tim Burton's Frankenweenie. His work also extends to live-action dubbing for major films and series, where he has been the Italian voice for actors like Simon Baker, Paul Bettany, and as the new voice of Tyrion Lannister in Il Trono di Spade (Game of Thrones) following the death of the previous actor. In addition to performing, Gravina has also worked as a dubbing director, notably for the series Hungry Heart: Wild Striker.
