Laurent Vernin is a French actor and voice director who has worked extensively in the field of animation dubbing, particularly for anime series intended for the French-speaking market. Born in Paris, he practices dubbing in Belgium and has built a career primarily focused on providing French voices for a wide array of characters in popular Japanese anime.

Vernin is perhaps best known as the regular French voice actor for the character Itachi Uchiha across the Naruto franchise. He portrays this role in the original Naruto series, as well as in Naruto Shippuden, Itachi Shinden, and the spin-off series Naruto Spin-Off: Rock Lee & His Ninja Pals. Another one of his most prominent roles is providing the French voice for Takumi Fujiwara, the protagonist of the street racing anime Initial D. He voices this character in Initial D: First Stage, Initial D: Third Stage, and Initial D: Fourth Stage.

The actor's voice credits span a wide range of other notable series. For example, he voices the character Marsh in the 2011 X-Men anime series and portrays Ichiro Ogami in Sakura Wars. He also played the role of Severin Bientot in the war-themed series Saga of Tanya the Evil. In the world of French-Belgian comics, he voices the titular hero in the animated adaptation of Spirou et Fantasio. His other roles include Gantlos in Winx Club, Loki in The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, and Frank Wintersea in the soccer anime Inazuma Eleven.

Beyond acting, Vernin has also taken on the role of voice director for several projects, including the films Onigamiden: The Legend of the Millennium Dragon and the series Agents Super Zéro. His television work includes providing additional voices for the stop-motion comedy series Robot Chicken.
