Akina Hōmoto is a Japanese voice actress and singer affiliated with the agency Just Production, born on August 5, 1996. She is best known for voicing the character Lanzhu Zhong across the multimedia Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club franchise. Hailing from Osaka Prefecture, Hōmoto's unique background includes spending a significant part of her childhood in Guangdong, China, from 2004 to 2012, which has given her fluency in Mandarin Chinese.
Hōmoto made her professional voice acting debut in 2018 with a role in the web anime Live Animation Heart x Algorhythm, where she voiced the character Linlin. Her early career included minor roles in television anime such as Dropkick on My Devil!. Her breakthrough came in 2020 when she was cast as Lanzhu Zhong, a transfer student from Hong Kong, in the popular Love Live!
