Michael Borgard is a German voice actor, synchronisation actor, and singer born in Cologne in 1985. He began his professional voice training in 2004 at a drama school in Cologne and later trained as a media designer for picture and sound, gaining early experience in voice-over and on-camera moderation.

Borgard is best known for providing the German voice for numerous characters in anime series and films. He is the German voice of Fumikage Tokoyami in the long-running series My Hero Academia, a role he has reprised for the franchise's films, including My Hero Academia: Two Heroes, My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising, and My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission. Another prominent anime role is Chrome in the series BOFURI: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, So I'll Max Out My Defense. He also voiced Mitsuru Kobayashi in the 2020 German synchronisation of the film Colorful.

His other voice work in anime includes roles in Sand Land: The Series, Food Wars, Assassination Classroom, A Chivalry of a Failed Knight, and Gamers!. Beyond animation, Borgard has an extensive career in German dubbing for live-action films and series, as well as voice-over work for commercials, documentaries, and video games. His notable video game credits include providing voices for Horizon Forbidden West, The Last of Us Part II, Ghost of Tsushima, and Death Stranding.
