Thomas Booker is an American actor, writer, director, and improvisational comedian who has performed voice work for English-language dubs of anime productions. He is best recognized for providing the voice of the character Keel Lorenz in the Neon Genesis Evangelion film series.

Booker began studying improvisational comedy in Chicago in 1986 at The Second City Training Center before moving to Los Angeles in 1991, where he co-founded the theater group Theater-A-Go-Go! with Laura Hall. His television debut came in 1994 with a guest role as Jinxo in the science fiction series Babylon 5.

In the realm of anime voice acting, Booker first took on the role of Keel Lorenz, the enigmatic leader of the secret organization SEELE, in the English dub of the 1997 films Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth and its sequel The End of Evangelion. He later reprised this voice role for the Amazon Prime Video redub of the Rebuild of Evangelion film series, including Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone, Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance, and Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo. This character remains his most prominent credit within the anime industry.

Beyond his voice work, Booker has maintained a career as a live-action actor with minor roles in films such as Jury Duty (1995) and The Thin Pink Line (1998) and television appearances including Curb Your Enthusiasm. He also co-wrote, co-directed, and appeared in the comedy feature Kill the Man (1999), which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.

Booker has additionally been involved with the production company Rooster Teeth, making guest appearances on the game show On The Spot, performing various characters in RT Shorts, playing the role of Archie in the iBlade trilogy, and making a cameo appearance as a doctor in the feature film Lazer Team. He is also the owner of The Institution Theater, an improv comedy theater located in Austin, Texas, and is recognized as an experienced improv comedian and teacher having instructed at The Second City Training Center in Los Angeles.
