Daniel Woren is an American voice actor with a career spanning from the 1980s to the present, recognized for his extensive work in English-language dubs of anime series, films, and video games. Born on January 8, 1952, in San Diego, California, he has also been credited under several pseudonyms throughout his career, including Jackson Daniels, Don Warner, W.T. Falke, Warren Daniels, and Dan Warren.

Woren is perhaps best known for providing the voice of Lieutenant Commander Roy Fokker in the seminal 1980s anime series Robotech, a role that helped establish him in the industry. Another significant and long-running role is that of Captain Byakuya Kuchiki, the stoic and noble captain of the 6th Division in the series Bleach, a part he has continued to play in its sequel, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War. His other prominent anime roles include the brutal villain Jagi in Fist of the North Star, the sadistic Caster (Gilles de Rais) in Fate/Zero, Yang Newman in Macross Plus, Rudol von Stroheim in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and Gwendal von Voltaire in Kyo Kara Maoh!. He has also contributed to the Digimon franchise, voicing characters such as Keisuke Tachikawa and Wisemon.

Woren has demonstrated his range by voicing characters in a wide array of other series, including Daisuke Jigen in the films Lupin the IIIrd: Jigen's Gravestone and Lupin the IIIrd: Fujiko Mine's Lie, Ibiki Morino in Naruto, Zorthy Kanai in Gurren Lagann, and Chapel the Evergreen in Trigun. In video games, his roles have included Igor in Persona 3 and Persona 4, Liu Bei and Lu Bu in the Dynasty Warriors series, and Sub-Zero in the 2011 Mortal Kombat game.

Throughout his career, Woren has frequently collaborated with a consistent group of fellow voice actors and directors. He has had a long-standing professional relationship with director Jeff Nimoy, having worked with him on multiple projects, including various installments of the Digimon franchise. His most frequent co-stars include Kirk Thornton, with whom he has worked on dozens of titles, as well as Wendee Lee, Steve Kramer, Steve Blum, and Mona Marshall.

Beyond his work in animation and video games, Dan Woren has achieved significant recognition as an audiobook narrator, having narrated over sixty titles. He has won multiple Earphone Awards from AudioFile magazine for his narration work, being named one of the Best Voices of the Year for titles such as The Invisible Gorilla, Trust Works!, and The Misadventures of the Family Fletcher.
