Masumi Tazawa

Masumi Tazawa is a Japanese voice actress born on November 22 in Kanagawa Prefecture. She is affiliated with the talent agency Tokyo Actor's Consumer's Cooperative Society, commonly known as Haikyo, and is a graduate of its affiliated voice actor training school, the Haikyo Voice Actors Studio's 39th class. She began her professional career in 2013.

Tazawa has built a career through a wide range of roles in anime television series, video games, and other media. One of her early leading roles was as Kiriha Kurano in the 2014 anime series Invaders of the Rokujouma!?. The following year, she voiced Rika Saionji in Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches. In the long-running franchise The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls, she provides the voice for the character Ayame Hamaguchi. She is also known for her role as Phara Suyūf in the Symphogear series. More recently, she has voiced Ikuno Dictus in the second and third seasons of Uma Musume Pretty Derby, and Chiaki Matsushita in Classroom of the Elite.

In addition to her work in anime, Tazawa has an extensive portfolio in video games. She is the voice of Belka in Fire Emblem if and its related titles, and Anna Usamoto in Alice Gear Aegis. She also voices the character Chapayev in the popular game Azur Lane.

Tazawa's career includes involvement in music related to her roles. As a member of the unit Heart♡Invader with fellow cast members from Invaders of the Rokujouma!?, she performed theme songs for the series. She has also contributed character songs for series like Valkyrie Drive: Mermaid and Re:Stage! Dream Days♪, in which she plays Mizuha Ichikishima. Her work in the Re:Stage! project also involved live performances and events as part of the unit KiRaRe.
