Shinobu Adachi is a Japanese actress and voice actress born on April 7, 1958, in Tokyo, Japan. She began her career on stage after joining the Theatre Echo training school and made her voice acting debut in 1981 as Hiromi in the anime series Miss Machiko. After a brief hiatus following her marriage and the birth of her son, she returned to voice acting in 1984 and has remained active in the industry for over four decades. Throughout her career, she has been affiliated with Theatre Echo, 81 Produce, and as of 2023, is a member of the agency Mouvement.

Adachi is well-known for her versatility, particularly her ability to portray energetic young boys, a skill she demonstrated in many of her most iconic roles. Her most celebrated performance is as Rabi, the rabbit boy from the 1989 television series Madō King Granzort, a role she reprised in its various OVA sequels including Bōken-hen, Non-Stop Rabi, and The Final Magical Battle.
