He carries himself with a calm and gentlemanly demeanor, showing politeness to his opponents, such as when he formally greets Goku before their match. This behavior leads several characters from the seventh universe to initially believe he is a benevolent and honorable warrior, a stark contrast to the tyrannical and brutal Frieza.

This polished exterior, however, is a complete fabrication. In truth, Frost is a manipulative and ruthless space pirate. His public heroism is a sophisticated cover for a scheme where his forces would instigate conflicts on planets, allowing him to arrive as a savior, end the war, and then purchase the ravaged land at a low price. He would then profit from rebuilding it. This deceitful and calculating nature is his primary personality trait. He is cunning, arrogant, and possesses a cruel streak, showing no hesitation in using underhanded tactics to achieve victory. During the tournament, he is exposed as a cheat who has hidden a paralytic poison needle in his wrist, which he uses to incapacitate Goku and Piccolo. His motivations are driven by personal profit, power, and a desire to maintain his fraudulent reputation. After being exposed and becoming a fugitive, his primary motivation shifts to survival and a chance to reclaim his lost status.

Frost's role in the story is primarily that of an antagonist. He is a key fighter for the sixth universe team in the tournament against universe seven, where his deception is unveiled. Later, he is recruited by his universe's god of destruction, Champa, to participate in the Tournament of Power, a battle royale between multiple universes where the losing teams face erasure. In this tournament, his role expands as he forms a temporary and treacherous alliance with Frieza, agreeing to work together to eliminate the Saiyans, for whom both hold a grudge.

His key relationships are largely antagonistic or opportunistic. He has a pragmatic and distrustful relationship with his teammates, including the powerful assassin Hit and the Saiyan warrior Caulifla. His most notable interaction is with Frieza, whom he views as a kindred spirit due to their shared ruthless ambition. In terms of abilities, Frost is an exceptionally powerful warrior. Like Frieza, he possesses multiple transformation forms which he uses to suppress and then release his true power. His forms include a first form, an bulky third form, and a sleek final form. While in his final form, he can access a full-power state, which drastically increases his strength but consumes a great deal of stamina, forcing him to end fights quickly. He is highly proficient in energy-based attacks, capable of firing beams and volleys of ki blasts. His signature and most insidious ability is the use of hidden poison needles, which can deliver toxins ranging from a potent paralytic to a lethal poison. He has also demonstrated a high level of technical skill by learning to copy and redirect Master Roshi's Evil Containment Wave, a powerful sealing technique, and even using it himself to trap Vegeta.
