Alexis Rhodes is a skilled and compassionate duelist who appears in both Yu-Gi-Oh! GX and Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V. In Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, she is a top student at Duel Academy residing in the prestigious Obelisk Blue dormitory, where her talent and poise earn her the informal title of the "Queen of Obelisk Blue." Unlike many of her arrogant peers, she is friendly, caring, and humble, never looking down on students from lower-ranked dorms. Her primary motivation is the mysterious disappearance of her older brother, Atticus, and she searches for clues with the help of his best friend. Over time, she becomes a key ally to the protagonist, Jaden Yuki, and fights against various antagonists, though she is briefly brainwashed by the Society of Light. As a duelist, she uses a Cyber Angel deck focused on Ritual Summoning, known for its balanced and strategic approach. In Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V, Alexis is an alternate version who was once an honor student at Duel Academy in the Fusion Dimension. After witnessing the Academy’s cruel practice of turning people from other dimensions into cards, she becomes disillusioned and escapes. Rescued by Yusho Sakaki, she co-founds You Show Duel School to help other runaways and promote dueling that brings smiles rather than conquest. She is kind, polite, and selfless, willing to sacrifice herself to protect others. In this series, she wields a Cyber Girl deck that also relies on Ritual Summoning and is specifically designed to counter Fusion Summoning.
