TV-Series
Description
Linck is a young orphan who becomes one of three adopted children of Eureka, the female protagonist of Eureka Seven. He was discovered as a newborn beneath a pile of corpses during the Ciudades del Cielo massacre, an event in which Eureka, in a past trauma, attacked his biological parents. This incident left a scar on his forehead, though Linck has no memory of his birth parents. He is the youngest and most emotionally sensitive of the three adopted siblings, often acting as the crybaby of the group. Linck, along with Maurice and Maeter, is taken in by Eureka and becomes part of the Gekkostate crew, living aboard the airship Gekko. His primary motivation is his deep bond with Eureka, whom he views as his mother. Initially, Linck is hostile toward Renton Thurston when Renton joins the group, frequently playing practical jokes on him and opposing Renton's relationship with Eureka. Over time, however, Linck grows to accept Renton as an adoptive father figure. As a minor supporting character, Linck's role centers on his place within Eureka's makeshift family, providing emotional stakes and grounding for the main characters. He does not pilot any LFOs or display special combat abilities; his development is tied to learning to trust Renton and becoming more secure in his family unit. Later in the series, he becomes known as Linck Thurston.
