Trox serves as the loyal Guardian Bakugan partner to Wynton Styles. His design evokes a Tyrannosaurus rex, marked by camouflage-green scales. Trox possesses immense physical strength and demonstrates unwavering loyalty, forming a highly coordinated battling team with Wynton. He typically exhibits thoughtful, strategic behavior in combat. However, experiencing pain or facing potential defeat triggers a primal, beastly reaction that overrides his tactical nature.
During Bakugan: Evolutions, elemental energy leaking from Vestroia into Earth causes uncontrolled rage episodes among Bakugan and enables elemental evolutions. Trox undergoes such an evolution in the episode "Trox Evolution!" (original airdate: April 17, 2022), resulting in a new form identified in merchandise as Neo Trox. This evolved state enhances his physical structure with both plastic and metal components, activated via contact with magnetic hexagons.
