Jordi Royo Segura is a Spanish voice actor known for his extensive work in dubbing animations, television series, and films into Catalan and Spanish. He was born in Barcelona on January 1, 1958, and has strong family ties to the town of Morella.

Royo began his career after leaving a position at a bank to pursue voice acting. He trained at a dubbing school and within months was directing dubbing projects for the Catalan regional channel TV-3. His early work included voicing characters in popular series such as Magnum and the Catalan dubs of animated shows.

Royo is particularly recognized for his anime dubbing work in Catalan. He is the second voice of the character Kogoro Mouri in the long-running series Case Closed, known as Detective Conan, a role he has performed in numerous television episodes and films. His credits for this character include Case Closed: The Fist of Blue Sapphire and Detective Conan - Episode One: The Great Detective Turned Small. He has also voiced the character in many of the franchise's movies, from The Time Bombed Skyscraper to Zero the Enforcer.

In the Dragon Ball franchise, Royo voiced Paragus in the Catalan dub of the film Dragon Ball Super: Broly. His other notable anime roles include Trox in Bakugan Battle Planet, Rector in the 1985 OAV Justy, and Nick Fury in the animated film Iron Man: Rise of Technovore.

Beyond anime, Royo has a prolific career dubbing live-action actors and animated characters. He has been the regular Spanish voice for actors such as Tom Selleck, John Goodman, and Samuel L. Jackson in the Star Wars universe. Following the passing of actor Pepe Mediavilla, he was chosen by Disney to be the new Spanish voice for Morgan Freeman, starting with the film The Nutcracker and the Four Realms. He is also known for voicing classic cartoon characters like Sylvester the Cat and Foghorn Leghorn in Looney Tunes productions.

In addition to acting, Jordi Royo has worked extensively as a voice director for both Spanish and Catalan dubs across numerous films and television series. Information available indicates he is now retired from voice acting.
