Description
Trox serves as the Guardian Bakugan to Wynton Styles, resembling a Tyrannosaurus rex. He first emerged on Earth after the second Great Collision, discovered by Wynton within a pile of goo, forging their partnership into a well-coordinated battle team. Trox exhibits a thoughtful, strategic approach to combat, prioritizing calculated moves over brute force. However, pain or potential defeat triggers a primal, beastly shift in his demeanor. His loyalty to Wynton is defining, though their partnership faces challenges.
Physically, Trox possesses green camouflage-colored parts. Primarily affiliated with the Ventus faction, associated with earth and wind abilities, a Pyrus variant exists under an alternate-universe Wynton. In battle, Trox masters several signature techniques: Crystal Rock Riser, slamming the ground to create crystalline pillars; Sonic Uproar, unleashing a powerful ring-like wind attack; and Ventus Mirage, generating multiple illusions to confuse opponents. His combat style emphasizes evasion and tactical positioning, showcasing intelligence.
Significant conflict arises from Wynton's focus on creating online content. Trox grows increasingly frustrated with being the subject of Wynton's prank videos, feeling disrespected. This tension culminates in Trox temporarily leaving after a heated argument. To prove independence, Trox battles three Bakugan solo: Drago, Cyndeous, and Gorthion. Utilizing strategic maneuvers, including creating a hole with Rock Riser causing the opponents to collide, Trox wins. This victory forces Wynton's sincere apology and an end to the pranks, leading to reconciliation and a stronger bond built on mutual respect.
Trox participates in key events with the Awesome Ones. He assists in defending Los Volmos against antagonists like China Riot and helps rescue allies such as Bear from threats like Strata the Hunter. During Kravitz's crisis to turn public opinion against Bakugan, Trox is forcibly removed from his ball form using AAAnimus technology, causing property damage. Later, when a weather satellite threatens the city, Trox aids civilian evacuation. Witnessing this protective behavior helps restore community trust in Bakugan. Though temporarily replaced as Wynton's primary partner by Falcron during the Geogan Rising arc, Trox remains part of the team.
Within the group dynamic, Trox maintains strong friendships with Bakugan like Drago, Pegatrix, Hydorous, and Gorthion. He displays protective instincts, notably foiling Nillious' attempt to attack Drago without reason. His intelligence extends beyond battle tactics to perceptiveness about social dynamics and partnership ethics.
In the physical Bakugan trading game, Trox appears in Core, Ultra, and evolved states like Hyper Trox and Titan Trox. His Base Power (B-Power) varies significantly by form and faction; Ventus Core Trox typically has 500B, while Diamond Ultra Trox reaches 1400B. His Ultra form features a magnet on his chin. Trox utilizes Baku-Gear such as the Cyclonator and partners with Nanogan like Sledge. Different versions, including Neo Trox, Genesis Trox, and Nova Trox, further expand his gameplay presence.
