Description
Mihoshi Kuramitsu is a Galaxy Police detective and a main character in the Tenchi Muyo! franchise. She is a member of the powerful Kuramitsu family of the Seniwa empire, a family whose influence is second only to the Jurai Royal Family. Her given name literally means "beautiful star," and she is the granddaughter of the Galaxy Police commissioner general. In the original OVA continuity, she is also the great-great-granddaughter of the scientist Washu, a connection that contributes to her unusual abilities.
Mihoshi is introduced as a well-meaning officer who is simultaneously klutzy, scatterbrained, and lazy to some degree. Despite this appearance, she is highly intelligent and was once regarded as one of the finest officers in the Galaxy Police, accumulating an extremely impressive arrest record.
