TV-Series
Description
Tiff, daughter of royal servants Sir Ebrum and Lady Like, resides in King Dedede's castle with her younger brother Tuff. She possesses pale yellow skin, long blonde hair secured in an ornate ponytail by purple and orange clasps, and expressive green eyes. Her signature outfit is a one-piece garment featuring a pink top with puffy sleeves, a light green bottom divided by a zigzag design, and orange shoes. Though sharing the yellow skin tone of Cappies, neither Tiff nor her family are Cappies, differing distinctly in head shape, eyes, and limbs.

Intelligent and resourceful, Tiff exhibits broad knowledge in fields like marine biology and archaeology, frequently aiding Professor Curio in research. Her personality merges intellectual curiosity with a notably short temper and occasional youthful naivete. She fiercely protects both the environment and loved ones, particularly Kirby, though pride sometimes renders her vulnerable—as when manipulated into desiring a collectible that became a monster. She maintains a personal journal chronicling Dream Land events and intermittently teaches other children, who rarely match her enthusiasm for learning.

Tiff's core relationships define her actions. She first encountered Kirby after his crash-landing on Popstar, initially disappointed he wasn't a "tall, dashing knight" but swiftly becoming his staunchest defender. Meta Knight identifies her as the sole individual capable of summoning Kirby's Warp Star due to her authentic care. Their dynamic echoes a maternal or sibling bond, with Tiff shielding Kirby while acknowledging his infant status. She clashes persistently with King Dedede over his schemes against Kirby and nature, though Dedede avoids physically harming her despite threats. With brother Tuff, she shares typical sibling banter—scolding his mischief yet collaborating against Dedede's plans. Meta Knight mentors her through cryptic advice, though she occasionally challenges his harsh tactics. Kine, a sunfish, harbors a lasting crush, often inquiring after her. Cappy Town villagers respect her insights but inconsistently heed her warnings about Dedede.

Throughout the series, Tiff serves as the primary investigator and expository voice, unraveling Dedede's plots and educating others on ecological or historical topics. She intervenes directly in crises, summoning the Warp Star during Kirby's battles or exposing Dedede's televised fraud in "Un-Reality TV." Her growth includes learning self-defense from Meta Knight and gradually recognizing Kirby's needs beyond overprotection. A precursor character—the unnamed Dream Land princess from the *Kirby of the Stars* pilot—shares Tiff's yellow skin, emotional expressiveness, and foundational bond with Kirby, suggesting her as Tiff's inspiration. Tiff appears in all 100 episodes and the *Kirby 3D* special, with later cameos as plush representations in official franchise artwork.
