TV Special
Description
Lambo, a five-year-old Italian hitman from the Bovino Famiglia, travels to Japan to assassinate Reborn and prove his worth as a future mafia boss. After repeated failures, he joins Tsunayoshi Sawada's household, living alongside Reborn and expanding Vongola affiliates. He displays a childish, spoiled demeanor, demanding treats and referring to himself as "Lambo-san." His favorite snacks include grape-flavored candy, takoyaki, and gumdrops, and he uses unique catchphrases like "e gamo ne," "monya m," and "damo ne," while exclaiming "Gyupaa!" when startled.
His appearance is distinct: light skin, a large head, white eyes with green pupils, and hashtag-shaped cheek marks. A massive afro—nearly one-third his height—holds detachable yellow horns with orange bands and stores grenades or snacks. He wears a black-and-white cow-patterned onesie with a tail. The Bovino Famiglia's Ten-Year Bazooka swaps him with future selves: at 15 (179 cm), he has restrained hair, one eye often closed, a single cheek mark, and regular cowhide-collared jackets; at 25 (184 cm), he dons a cowhide coat, sports braided hair, and adopts a serious demeanor.
Despite bravado and world-domination dreams, Lambo cries when distressed, chanting "ga...ma...n" before using the Ten-Year Bazooka to flee. His antics—grenade misuse, nose-picking, mucus-wiping, or blunt remarks—earn him insults like "stupid cow" from Hayato Gokudera and Reborn. The Vongola circle, especially Nana Sawada, treats him affectionately. He bonds playfully with child assassin I-Pin and Simon Famiglia members. Futa's rankings deem him the "world’s most annoying mafia member" and top "seat cushion" candidate.
As Vongola Tenth Generation’s Lightning Guardian, Lambo fights in key battles. His abilities evolve: at age 5, grenades, bazookas, and innate "Electric Skin" electricity immunity; at 15, "Thunder Set" lightning summoning and shock-inflicting "Electrico Cornata" horn charges; at 25, "Perfect Electric Skin," electricity-redirecting "Electrico Reverse," and enhanced horn attacks. During the Varia Arc’s Lightning Ring battle against Leviathan, he uses the Ten-Year Bazooka consecutively; his 25-year-old self nearly wins but reverts mid-fight, causing critical injuries. In the Future Arc, Gokudera trains him to master Vongola Box Weapons, yielding the lightning bull "Gyuudon" and later the "Vongola Helmet Ver. X." His Lightning Flame activates via intense emotions, and he is the first Guardian to open his Vongola Box unaided.
In non-canon OVA *Here Comes a Vongola Family-Style School Trip!*, Lambo travels across Japan, ordering excessive takoyaki, urinating on a snow statue of Dino’s horse Enzio (misidentified by Gokudera as a "Vongolasaurus"), and disrupting a bathhouse by attempting to enter the women’s section. A stray blast causes him to misfire the Ten-Year Bazooka at Gokudera, triggering a chain reaction of future-self swaps.
Future selves reveal developments: the 15-year-old adopts "Yare yare," attracts female admirers (causing chocolate-induced nosebleeds), and resembles Bianchi’s ex-boyfriend Romeo—prompting her attacks. The 25-year-old shows discipline and emotional restraint, expressing quiet resolve when reuniting with allies. He claims he never declines party invitations and recalls his five-year-old self’s loneliness and aspiration to emulate Tsuna and the Guardians.
Trivia notes: Lambo absorbs town-level electricity, ranks among the mafia’s top hide-and-seek players, and sleeps on floors instead of beds. He shares a May 28 birthday with Romeo and consistently ranks in the top 20 of character polls across seven anniversary surveys.
