Description
Iwao Oguro began his career as the Pro Hero O'Clock, operating across Japan and China under the alias Ciupan Seikyun (Hyper Quadfist). His Quirk, Overclock, accelerated his brain's perception and physical speed, making the world appear to move in slow motion, though it required brief usage and cooldown periods. Specializing in dismantling criminal organizations, he frequently collaborated with Detective Eizo Tanuma and police forces.

During an undercover mission at the Underground Masquerade, Oguro posed as the Quirkless fighter "The Ripper" to gather evidence on Trigger. After infiltrating the event, he feigned defeat against Kendo Rappa ("The Rapper") to access the sick bay and steal a Trigger-laced syringe. When Quirk-boosting gas flooded the venue, he allied with Rappa and Rumi Usagiyama ("Tiger Bunny") to escape. They confronted a hooded figure (All For One), and Oguro directed Rumi to alert police while he and Rappa held the enemy off until All Might arrived, deepening his investigation into All For One.

All For One ended Oguro’s career by stealing Overclock and leaving him severely scarred. Quirkless and stripped of hero status, Oguro spiraled into depression and alcoholism. His personal life collapsed when his daughter Tamao pursued music, leading to her leaving home. Oguro later discovered his wife in a vegetative state after an attack by bees controlled by Tamao—though Tamao’s body was actually possessed by Villain Factory operative Kuin Hachisuka. This tragedy drove him to become the vigilante Knuckleduster, aiming to rescue Tamao and dismantle the Villain Factory.

Operating illegally in Naruhata, Knuckleduster wielded brass knuckles and equipment including a grappling hook, painkillers, taser knuckle, pheromone cocktails to explode bees, sniper rifle, radio box to counter speed Quirks, and shotgun. Despite lacking a Quirk, his enhanced strength and durability allowed him to withstand Quirk-enhanced blows and defeat Trigger-augmented foes. His fighting style merged brute force with tactical analysis, enabling him to decipher opponents' Quirks mid-combat.

He first encountered Koichi Haimawari while drunkenly interrogating a thug about Trigger. Koichi’s non-violent intervention inspired Oguro to reassess his methods. Later, he saved Koichi and Kazuho Haneyama (Pop☆Step) from thugs, recruiting them as vigilantes. He trained Koichi in combat and Quirk usage, though their partnership strained due to Oguro’s aggressive tactics and fixation on the Villain Factory. His investigation confirmed Kuin Hachisuka’s parasitic control over Tamao, prompting a rescue plan.

Knuckleduster clashed with vigilante Stendhal (later Stain), smashing his nose, and encountered Eraser Head, who mistook his strength for a stamina Quirk. After resolving the Villain Factory crisis and saving Tamao, he distanced himself from Koichi and Pop☆Step, continuing solo vigilantism in Naruhata. His final condition remains unclear; an injured Koichi later hallucinated a conversation with him, implying potential retirement or demise.

Oguro’s arc transitioned from a system-bound hero to a morally gray vigilante. His motivations shifted from professional duty to personal vengeance, then to protecting society’s neglected corners. His legacy proved Quirks nonessential for heroism, influencing figures like Koichi and Soga Kugisaki.
